What’s in for Fall 2012

It’s still a sauna outside but that doesn’t mean you shouldn’t start prepping for Fall style! Here are a few steps to get you started…

STEP ONE: Organize a Swap party with all of your best dressed pals! You will have tons of room in your closet for your new fall wardrobe and help someone less fortunate by donating what’s left after the party! It’s a win-win if you ask me!

STEP TWO: Prepare your hair for richer color with protein treatments. After a Spring and Summer of highlights, chlorine, and sunshine your hair is desperate for strength. Without proteins the hair can not hold onto moisture or color molecules. In my salon I use Original Mineral Power Base. It’s the king of lifts for damaged hair. This intense dual action treatment works to restore your mane from within. Wheat Protein reconstructs weakened hair to bind broken strands while Apricot Kernel Oil and Sweet Almond moisturizes and nourishes the hair’s exterior.

STEP THREE: Pick your Trend piece.

STEP FOUR: FALL for a new Haircolor. The color placement such as the Ombre, Balyage, or traditional highlights can stay the same. The color palette is what will need to change. Think of haircolor this way Spring (Light/Beige/Pastel) Summer (Bright/ cool) Fall (Warm/ Rich) Winter (Dark/ cool)
